Grandpa Lost His Mind

Steve Fulks is another coast-to-coast cyclist we met when crossing Kansas…top fella, he introduced himself by shouting “Get off my land!” at us and freaking us out. Good work Steve….

We met Merle Knotts, an MS patient, on the way across Kansas when he snuck up on us with his recumbent tricycle. Merle is pedaling 3,300 miles from Marietta, Georgia to Oak Harbor, Washington to attend his 50-year high school class reunion (hes 69! right on!). He is soliciting tax deductible donations to the Georgia Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for the fight against Multiple Sclerosis and hopes to raise at least $10 per mile between now and the end of the trip. Help Merle!
